A Message from Our Principal

I am honored to be serving in my fifth year as the Principal of John Barry Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. It is an incredible honor to continue to lead such an amazing school that has been nationally recognized for its turnaround efforts and double-digit academic improvements.

I have worked as both the Principal and the Assistant Principal here at Barry for the past seven years. During my time at John Barry I have had the privilege of working with your children, as well as many of you, to ensure that your child is receiving the highest level of academic instruction and social-emotional supports. I truly believe that John Barry has the best staff, students, families, and community supports, and as a proud parent of John Barry students, I vow to continue to lead John Barry to even greater accomplishments.

Mrs. Dixon is in her 5th year as the Assistant Principal and continues to support staff, students, and families on their path to success.
